Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named for its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s

Qi Gong (Tai Chi)

Qi Gong is a precursor to Tai Chi and can be summarised as a holistic system of slow movements, postures and breathing originating from China. You will learn how to control your body and breathing while helping your posture, balance, mental well-being as well as strengthening joints and muscles all in a calm, relaxing environment.

Qi gong is mainly done in a standing position and, due to the nature of the exercises is suitable for almost anyone.

Ben Olding and Isabelle Kandler teach Qi Gong at dojo sports and are both certified (Master Grade) by a Grandmaster and both have over 15 years experience.

On occasion we have the pleasure of hosting a Holistic Healing Soundbath.

Sound baths feature relaxing sounds from an eclectic range of instruments like Tibetan bowls, gongs, crystals, soft drums, which creates ultimate relaxation and a meditative state of mind. The idea is to make a comfortable nest before the session with a pillow and blanket, switch off and clear your mind from all of the day to day stresses of life.

A Chinese martial art based on the movements of the Tiger. Involves strikes, kicks as well as grabbing and locking techniques.

Classes involve striking pads, self defence techniques, practising moves and 'forms' as well as sparring and other exercises.

Suitable for healthy adults of pretty much any age.

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.

We offer 'Vinyasa flow' yoga, a form of yoga with continuous movement as well as the 'Yoga & Mindfulness' - a more meditative, relaxing experience
